Spanish giants FC Barcelona’s players, as they have done on numerous occasions in the past, have started playing mind games yet again as they publicly praise Arsenal’s holding midfielder Alex Song, with Barcelona’s Sergio Busquets singing praises of the Cameroonian.
Arsenal find themselves in a familiar situation as Barcelona players like Gerard Pique, Xavi and Andres Iniesta publicly praised Cesc Fabregas for the last three seasons, after finally managing to steal him back from the Gunners last season. Earlier this year, the Spanish outfit also praised current skipper Robin van Persie, as they showed initial interest in the Dutchman.
Barcelona have done it again, and this time it is Sergio Busquets, who is praising fellow holding midfielder Alex Song, who was one of Arsenal’s top players last season. With the loss of Seydou Keita, Barcelona are looking to bring in a new holding midfielder and have targeted Song.
Busquets has given his thumbs up for a potential move, and was all praises for the Cameroon international, as he said, “Song is a very good player – young, a hard worker, with lots of physical power.”
He continued, “Another player in my position would be welcome, but either way I will keep working hard to win a place in the starting team.”

Who says he wants to sell? A rumour has been started and without any information everyone is jumping down wengers throat. This type of fan makes me sick. they’re only happy when they’re listing the faults of the manager. We’ve had an awesome transfer window so far. Some people are never happy. @Me, agree with you 100%. It seems some people are just waiting for half an excuse to bash the manager. People have been asking Wenger to buy, buy, buy, now he has bought, bought, bought and people are still not happy. As fas as I know RVP is still an Arsenal player, and most definitely Song. We haven’t lost anyone that we want to keep, so what is the f@rking issue?
