Aly Cissokho’s agent, Ali Barat has alerted his suitors by announcing that his client will be leaving Lyon, either in this transfer window, or the next.

There has been a considerable amount of doubt for quite some time regarding Cissokho’s future at the Ligue 1 club. Now, his agent has confirmed that Cissokho is ready to move to another club.

There have been a host of  clubs, like Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United among others who have been interested in the French full-back after his consistent performances for Lyon.

There was a €7 million bid from Newcastle turned down by Lyon as they have valued him at €9 million.

Arsenal too were thought to be keeping tabs on Cissokho, considering the injury crisis in defense for the North London club.

But currently it seems like Serie A club Juventus are the strongest suitors and Cissokho’s most likeliest destination. Speaking to Calciomercato.in, Barat said, “Cissokho has a contract until 2014. Lyon proposed a two-year renewal, but we did not accept because he wants a change of scenery.

I am here in Italy because I will meet with Juve on Friday.

“If Cissokho leaves in January, then it will be only for Juventus.”
