Does Arsenal Still Have A Big Four Chance?

February 9 | Posted by C.M. | > News, English Premier League highlights

Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Tomas Rosicky hopes that the 7-1 thrashing of Blackburn Rovers last week will bring back the consistency which was lacking in the past few weeks for Arsenal, and provide them the impetus required to finish in the Top 4.

Momentum Is Key – Rosicky

Arsenal currently occupy 6th spot in the table, 3 points behind 4th placed Chelsea. Three consecutive defeats at the hands of Fulham, Swansea City and Manchester United saw Arsenal fall behind, after they came back and ran riot against Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium.

Tomas Rosicky, who started three of the previous four matches, hopes that the emphatic win can provide them the required belief and confidence to get results and to clinch the 4th spot at the expense of their nearest rivals.

Speaking to Arsenal.com the Czech Republic captain said, “”We recently had an unsuccessful spell so this is something we can build on,”

“We can be happy after this game but the most important thing is to carry a performance like that and fight for a Champions League spot.

“It was a game when almost everything went in and it’s good for confidence. But it does not matter if it was seven goals or one. The most important thing is the performance and the fact we can repeat it.”

We have to play all the other teams competing for 3rd and 4th so we can have a big say in not only who finishes 4th but i have not given up on catching them scabs up the road. they have to play chelsea united and newcastle as well as us so they could drop lots of points yet.
