A talented Polish goalkeeper is close to signing a contract with Chelsea, according to rumours in Polish press
The 16-year-old Polish Dominik Dyk, currently playing for junior squads in lower leagues in Poland, has been given green light to start practicing with Andre Villas-Boas’ squad alongside Petr Čech.
According to the tabloid Fakt , Dominik, who has been staying in London since last week, has been discussing details of the contract with Stamford Bridge club’s representatives and has been allowed to practice with the first squad.
Dominik Dyk was earlier noticed by another London club, Fulham, but he they did not decide to sign a contract with the youngster. The goalkeeper has not had a breadth of experience as a senior player as he was only playing for a local team of Moravia Morawica and then was also tried out as a substitute goalkeeper at a third-division side KSZO Ostrowiec.
The future goalkeeping star is in London with his father and manager. Time will tell if Dominik will follow in the footsteps of his compatriots, Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczęsny and Łukasz Fabiański or Tomasz Kuszczak, a current reserve goalie for MU.
His talent seems to be unquestionable and he also attracted attention of Spain’s Villareal and some of Poland’s top teams.
