Will Arsenal’s Top Transfer Target Choose Rivals ?

In news which is not going to go down well with Arsenal fans, their prime transfer target Eden Hazard has dropped a hint that he might be interested to join London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs.
The 21-year old has been on Arsenal’s radar for quite some time now, and is their top transfer target in the summer. Along with Arsenal, several Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all keen on French outfit Lille’s star player.
The wing wizard had earlier stated in an interview in January with Canal+ that he was interested in a summer switch to England. He had said, “I’m leaning towards England. It’s a style of play that suits me and it’s there that you can learn the most.”
Tottenham Hotspurs, who have almost certainly cemented the third spot in the table, have stolen the march over their rivals, and are the leading chasers for the Belgian’s signature. In an interview with RTBF, Hazard admitted, “Maybe I’ll go to Tottenham. It’s a great English club. I said I would go to England.”
One will have to wait till the summer to see whether Tottenham will play spoilsport and crash Arsenal’s hopes of landing their long-term target.
